Throughout this past week, the Chilkat watershed provided some of my most memorable experiences yet. Paddling alongside a humpback, watching porpoises chase a school of fish, floating through the eagle preserve, climbing Peak 3920 to see the whole valley. Haines continues to elevate my enjoyment of adventuring and of Alaska.
